We have a new member, Buxie (Richard). Here's what he had to say:

I created the Autokraft AC MKIVs on November 7th 1977. Technically, the AC was officially added years later after lunch with Derek Hurlock. I can add some pictures later when we finish unpacking from our move.

Welcome Richard!

Kevin

Richard, welcome to the site. I am looking forward to your pictures and you have a lot of information that will be interesting.

Richard followed up with this photo. Absolutely gorgeous. Richard, what is the car under the plastic cover behind the cobra?

Welcome aboard, Richard!

I like your color choice. It looks like Viper Steel Grey, am I correct? I also like your election to use under car exhaust. I retrospect I wish I had also. On the highway, it is much easier on your ears.

Looking forward to your posts, participation, and pics.(y)

Ditto what Kevin said about the car under the plastic cover. That wouldn't be a 57/58 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, would it?

Welcome Richard, I'm with Bill S. (Mr. Mustang) 58 Impala?? Lower belt line looks right for it to be a Chev.

I think you guys are right. When I blow it up to look (duh?) it does look like a 58 model year Chevy and probably an Impala. The length of the side window glass looks long enough that it could be a four-door.

No, Jaguar Tungsten Metallic Grey. Originally ordered for the Japanese distributor as one of 12 lightweights built and only one was RHD. This was car #6. car #12 is in AZ and car #8 was totaled.
